...that I got my head marked, as you may recall. I've had some time to let things settle in and get comfy. I now have the blessings of my awesome godmother, mslashes, to let you know that I am the proud, happy, and thrilled-to-the-bone daughter of Yemaya. I'm sure some of you probably had this figured out already; even when I don't shout stuff from the rooftops, I tend to drop very broad hints...

I hope to receive her crown early next year, if possible. In the meantime, I'm sure I'll be making day trips out to the coast quite a bit (byroncaloz and are planning a trip for the weekend of the 23rd) to spend some quality time with Mama.

So there you have it. Let's keep this friends-only for now, OK? Thank you, my beautiful friends.

This year and from now on I'm Following My Bliss. The realization hit me like a hammer this morning - none of us really and truly have time on this planet for anything else, or anything less. Join me, won't you?

The splendiferous flautenpupie_79 reminded me that today is indeed National Coming Out Day. So, OK, here goes....

I consider myself bisexual. I've never had a relationship with a woman, but I've never ruled it out. Actually, for me I think a more accurate term would be "bi-affectionate." Sex is great and all, but I don't base an intimate relationship around sex. If I fall in love with you, I really don't care what you've got between your legs. What matters to me is your heart and soul. Really good sex is the frosting, not the whole cake. byroncaloz and I are monogamous, but if the unthinkable ever happened and we were to part - well, let's just say I would definitely be keeping my options open!

So, there you have it. Only a very small handful of people knew this about me previously. And now, the entire LJ population and anybody who cares to do a Google search knows. Yikes. I'm not taking it back, though. The truth shall set you free.
